Part 1: Suggestions people had for my project were narrow it down to one drug and talk about percentages maybe more. Talk about productivity of previous injection sites. See if safe injection sites in Mexico and America were actually stopping people from shooting up in the streets. Based off the class feedback I think changes I’m going to make is narrow down the drugs just to heroin and maybe study a safe injection to see how it’s helping or how it’s not helping. So maybe I can narrow down my question a little more by talking about a drug through the injection site. Part 2: what different approaches have Mexico and America taken to combat heroin in safe injection sites? what’s the safe injection site doing to help people with substance abuse?
